It's ok to grieve. It's ok to miss loved ones who die. It is a good thing they are in a better place, and actually those are just efforts to sympathize with people. The intent is more important than the words. True, theologically relationships change in heaven, but they do that on earth too. Your children or parents can transform into friends. That relationships change isn't necessarily a bad thing.

You do not have a good grasp about what biblical heaven is. According to Rev. 21:1 it is a new heaven and earth, a brand new universe. There is no reason to think that we're just in some choir. The Bible doesn't teach that. We are experience life as it was/is intended to be experienced in a new universe. That's pretty cool. We will continue to be social people. Worship isn't about singing hymns, you misunderstand that too. Worship Jesus said is experience in spirit and truth and happens through the ordinary experiences of life.
