Losing inspiration and interest in fragrances

Since im the only one i know who is into fragrances as much as i am, theres no one to share this rant with, so i guess it must fall on the ears (or eyes) of the BN community.

I've recently been on a low in terms of fragrances. Im quite picky and will never buy something unless i love it. My last purchase was a 50ml bottle of French Lover from Editions de Parfums back in September, but it seems recently ive been so uninspired by what i've smelled recently its kinda making me re-evaluate if i love this hobby as much as i did.

Everything ive been sampling and testing recently has been so un interesting. The most interesting was Cadjmere from Parfumerie Generale but still not sure if i want to buy a bottle.

I hate that i feel like this.... or it could be that ive finally reached the point that im content with my 5 or 6 bottles that i have.

Anyone else feeling like this? What did you do?

 

 

Either take a break and enjoy what you have OR throw yourself out there . Take a whole day and visit all the department and specialist stores in London and just try a whole bunch of stuff , that should reignite your passion !!! I love a big smell-a-thon of a day , this week I went to Harrods , Liberty and Harvey Nichols and just tried and re tried some smells and it was proper great

 

 

When it happens to me, I just enjoy the fragrances I have for a while and then, when the urge takes me, I go out with a fresh nose sampling stuff.

There are some great new releases out there, Sartorial by Penhaligon's being one - Zizonia is also fantastic.

I've also recently been enjoying the Parfums D'Empire line too, they have some really great fragrances to explore.

The other thing I'll do is re-examine classic releases that I may have missed.
